Care

Our tableware is durable and easy to care for.

  • Dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe up to 450ºF
  • All ceramics are susceptible to superficial marks from your flatware. They can be easily removed with a scouring powder (like Bar Keepers Friend) and our Tawashi Brush
  • For best results, hand wash chopsticks with mild soap and let air dry. Avoid placing in dishwasher to preserve longevity.

Each pair of chopsticks is painted by hand using food-safe paint in two signature shades, which adds to their durability.

Made in Japan from locally harvested moso bamboo, a sustainable, fast-growing variety native to the Kumamoto Prefecture.

Using locally sourced and recycled clay, each piece is finished by hand to be organic in shape, making it one of a kind.

    Love these bowls

    We bought these bowls to use as our all-around everyday bowls for any dinner that doesn't go on a plate - I actually held off on buying Fable dinnerware for a while, because the pasta bowls were not quite the right size for our everyday use and I wanted a matching set of dinnerware. Cue the ramen bowls! They are pretty and the shape/size is just right.
