- All ceramics are susceptible to superficial marks from your flatware. They can be easily removed with a scouring powder (like Bar Keepers Friend) and our Tawashi Brush

I bought the dinner set (bowls, pasta bowls, side plates, dinner plates). For the first time in my life, I keep my plates on display -- for me to look at. I love that each one is slightly different. I love that they are pretty but solid. I love the slightly upturned lip of the plates.

I bought the whole set (dinner plates, salad plates, breakfast bowls, pasta bowls) not on sale and with my own money - and I have NO regrets. If you are considering it, do it! Think about it this way: You will use these every day, possibly for the rest of your life if you take care of them. They are super high quality, handmade, and beautiful - they literally bring me joy every time I open my kitchen cupboard. I am not usually one to review things online, but I seriously love these and I think you will, too! One thing that I haven't mentioned in a review yet: I LOVED that they came in all-cardboard packaging. NO plastic. Everything was packed so well, and I really appreciate that attention to detail & care for the planet.

I ordered these to see if they were as great as they looked. I've been checking out dinnerware for several years to replace an old set. Just for grins, I compared them to Heath, the iconic California pottery. Decided I preferred the speckled white glaze here, and that the shape and size of the plate was preferable.
